WATCH: Chris Rock Calls Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger “The Original Cosby”

Last night, at a media event in Baltimore for his upcoming film Top Five, comedian Chris Rock may have opened a can of worms when he compared Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to Bill Cosby.

According to TMZ, Rock was talking to the crowd when he paused and said, “I was getting ready to say something really bad about Roethlisberger … he’s the original Cosby.”

A few years ago, two women accused Roethlisberger of sexual assault in two different cities. TMZ says he “was first accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Lake Tahoe back in 2008. He ultimately settled with his accuser and was never charged with a crime. The second alleged incident went down in Georgia in 2010 … when Ben allegedly assaulted a woman in a nightclub bathroom. He was investigated by cops but never charged with a crime.”

Sounds kind of familiar … except Roethlisberger was never accused of using drugs to seduce women. As you probably know, several sexual assault allegations against Cosby have resurfaced lately, after a video of comedian Hannibal Burress calling Cosby a rapist appeared right here on Ticket.

Chris Rock made a less-controversial stop in Philadelphia yesterday afternoon while on the media tour, stopping by the Ritz Five to gab about his new film. HughE Dillon got some photos, which you can see here.
