Ah, mini golf: an activity that the littles love and that adults find friendly competition in. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy picking out a neon-colored golf ball, scribbling your score with a tiny pencil, trying your best to sink a hole-in-one, and then capping your game with ice cream? Below, our guide to miniature golf courses in and around Philadelphia.
Philadelphia County
Burholme Golf & Family Entertainment Center
Where: 401 Cottman Avenue, Northeast Philly (outdoor)
When: Year-round

Cost: $11 for adults; $9 for kids under 11
Special features: Seven working fountains, a walk-through cave, and a waterfall, plus a cafe and a driving range
Franklin Square
Where: 200 North 6th Street, Center City (outdoor)

Special features: Philly-themed with miniature versions of landmarks like Boathouse Row, the LOVE Statue, and the Chinatown Friendship Gate. Plus, Franklin Square has a carousel, food stand, fountain shows every 30 minutes, and playground.
Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest

Special features: An amusement park featuring roller skating, a 60-foot Ferris wheel, a carousel, an arcade, other boardwalk-style games, and an eatery
Libertee Grounds
Where: 1600 West Girard Avenue, suite C5, Fairmount (indoor), plus an outdoor summer pop-up at the Oval
When: The main location is open year-round; while the pop-up at the Oval is open through September 13th.
Number of holes: 18 at the main location; nine at the Oval
Cost: $10 for nine holes or $18 for 18 holes at the main location; $10 at the Oval (free for kids 12 and under)
Special features: The main location is home to two nine-hole courses, a golf simulator, and games (darts, jumbo Jenga, board games), and hosts trivia every Thursday night.
