“Trump for Presidente” Posters Show Up Around Philly

New York street artist Hanksy is getting in some commentary on Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s recent, ignorant statements about Mexican immigrants via a series of “Trump for Presidente” posters that he’s hung around NYC and Philadelphia. Passyunk Post spotted these around the corner from Triangle Park in South Philly.

“Hey [Donald Trump] I want to save your campaign so I made these posters to help with the Latino vote,” Hanksy writes on one Instagram post. The poster shows the floppy-haired entrepreneur in a sombrero that reads “Viva Mexico!” and surrounded by Mexican imagery, like tacos, jalapeños and a margarita. A text bubble coming out of his mouth reads, “estas contratado!,” which translates to “you’re hired” — a twist on Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice catch phrase.

Hanksy is selling the prints on his website for $20. You can nab one here. Not the Donald Trump presidential memorabilia you were looking for? Maybe you’d like one of these Donald butt plugs.
