Bradley Cooper Sports Eagles Cap at Mayweather vs. Pacquiao


Philly’s Bradley Cooper repped his Philly pride at this weekend’s Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight, sporting a cap from his favorite NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles tweeted their approval:

CBS sports blog 247 Sports took notice, writing:

Cooper, who many may think is a just a fan because of his role in Silver Linings Playbook is actually a die-hard Eagles fan. He was born and raised outside Philadelphia and then attended Georgetown University before pursuing a career in acting.

This past season Cooper did voiceovers for Eagles promotional videos leading up to key NFC East games against the Cowboys and Giants.

In the aforementioned videos, he teamed up with other Philly folks John Legend (who went to Penn) and the Roots on a couple videos meant to get fans in the spirit. The one where he taunted the New York Giants was a particular favorite.
