Unreleased Freddie Mercury Songs To Be Featured On New Queen Album

Freddie Mercury fans, rejoice: according to Queen lead guitarist Brian May, you’ll be able to hear several unreleased Freddie Mercury vocals from the eighties in an upcoming Queen album.

May, who was interviewed on BBC Radio, said the new album, most likely called Queen Forever, will predominately feature music from the eighties when the entire band was together. According to May, the album “will have […] new material on [it] which nobody in the world has ever heard and I think people will really enjoy it.”

Mercury died in 1991 from bronchial pneumonia as a result of AIDS.

Queen will be stopping in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center on July 16 as part of their countrywide tour with Adam Lambert. For more information on the concert, visit the Wells Fargo Center webpage.
