Overbrook Voter Tells CNN He Voted a “Couple Times” for Obama in 2008

About ten minutes after word came down that a Pennsylvania judge is blocking the state’s controversial voter ID law, someone sent me this video, which was uploaded to YouTube last week. On Election Day 2008, CNN stationed reporter Brian Todd outside of a polling place in Overbrook Park, a neighborhood in West Philadelphia. The reporter spoke with a man who identified himself as Ron Jones and who told the reporter that he had “voted a couple times” for Barack Obama that day. “I’m pretty sure that’s illegal,” Todd responded.
