Sure, Philly is considered one of the greatest food destinations along the east coast, but that doesn’t mean you can’t venture outside the city limits once in a while to see what’s on offer elsewhere. And we found the perfect place to do it this fall. Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is hosting a can’t-miss weekend-long event (November 9^th and 10^th!) showcasing everything foodies love most—renowned chefs, great drinks and even better eats.

The weekend is jam-packed with 18 events including cooking demonstrations and classes, chef meet-and-greets, cocktail parties, and specialty dinners. Here’s some of the highlights you can register for now:

Unbelievable Buffet

Indulge in Borgata’s award-winning Chef’s Table dining experience—this year’s is crafted by Executive Chef, Tom Biglan. Dig in to his favorite family-style dishes and signature cuts of meat— all paired perfectly with red and white wine.

Vibes and Vino

Part Master Sommelier, part music aficionado, expert Rob Bigelow hosts this interactive night that unveils the connection between wine and music. Discover which wines pair best with everyone from Bon Jovi to Billy Joel and experience the effect of music on your taste buds and wine’s ability to shift your perception of a song.

Food Facials

You can opt for a true full-body food experience by treating yourself to a food facial. Using simple pantry ingredients, estheticians will teach you how you can use everyday food products to create an at-home spa day—all while you relax, unwind and enjoy light brunch bites.

Wolfgang Puck Cooking Demo

Renowned Chef and Food Network personality,Wolfgang Puck reveals the secret to some of his most favorite recipes at this live cooking demonstration inside Borgata’s Music Box theater. Before you know it, you’ll be an Iron chef!

Gingerbread 101

Christmas is coming early with this hands-on class taught by Executive Pastry Chef, Thaddeus DuBois. During the class, you’ll learn about different kinds of gingerbread fare from traditional cutouts to pfeffernusse cookies. Master the art of sugar and spice and everything nice and taste test along the way!

Savor Borgata

The pièce de résistance of the whole weekend is the Saturday night Savor Borgata event. There, you can mingle with the likes of Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Wolfgang Puck, Michael Schulson and Geoffrey Zakarian while you enjoy live music and seriously good sips and eats.
