5 Reasons to Check Out Exton This Fall

hankin-group-walkNow that we’ve officially entered into Pennsylvania’s best looking season, you owe it to yourself and our great state to see as much of PA as possible. We discovered a perfect autumn gem nestled in Chester county at Eagleview Town Center. Here’s a few reasons why we think this will be one of your new favorite spots for your fall festivities.

The Scenery

Get out of the city for a day and take a drive through Chester county’s winding roads to see some of the best foliage in the country – these landscapes have literally inspired artists. Once you arrive, at the heart of Town Center is a two acre community park equipped with amenities like playgrounds, community gardens and tennis courts. You’ll also find events like movie nights, and fire pits that will have you itching for bonfires and craving a s’more.

Wellington Square Bookshop

There’s nothing quite like ducking into a quiet bookshop on a crisp fall day, escaping the chilly air to discover your next source of literary inspiration or even just a hot cup of coffee. Wellington Square Bookshop is an indie bookstore and cafe with an eclectic selection for every type of book lover.

Eagleview Farmers Market

Every Thursday from 3pm to 7pm visitors can buy local produce and goods at the Town Center Tree Grove. It’s a great market to find all your fresh fall favorites. Is anyone else thinking about homemade apple crisps and pumpkin pies all of a sudden?

Falling Leaf Festival

The name speaks for itself – this is definitely going on our bucket list for the season. On October 7th starting at 11 a.m., Town Center is hosting a day full of family friendly entertainment and great food provided by local vendors. It’s also an opportunity to give back to the community because while admission is free, a non-perishable food donation to Chester County Food Bank is encouraged.

The Foodhankin-nachos

This is arguably the best part of any excursion. From sushi to Mexican, every hour is a happy hour – that being said, actual happy hour is a must in Town Center. Check out Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden for a couple brews, Al Pastor for some margaritas and mojitos, Bluefin Eagleview for sushi specials or Brickside Grille for their raw oyster bar. Eagleview Town Center Restaurant Row is a foodie haven with lots of delicious variety.
