Philly Mag Shops Store Preview: Third Street Habit
Time for us to peel back the curtain on Philly Mag Shops and give you another sneak peek of what you’ll find during our biggest, most fabulous shopping event of the year. This time, we’ve got Old City’s Third Street Habit, quite possibly one of Philly’s most beloved shops.
If you haven’t been to Third Street Habit, think of it as sort of like Free People, but a way more grown-up, luxe version. (More Isabel Marant, less feather earrings.) Last year, their pop-up space was jam-packed; I scored a faux-fur-and-knit muff that I’m still obsessed with.
This year, they’re bringing the good stuff again—all new fall clothing at 40 percent off, all jewelry at 35 percent off, and everything else at 30 percent off. (So, yeah, pretty insane discounts for three hours only.) I chatted with Liz, one of my fave shopgirls in the city, to get the inside scoop on what they’ll have.
Fall Knits. “Everything from prints to basics by Sanctuary, Maison Scotch and more.” (Note: Maison Scotch is so. good.)
Fall Staples. “Including Love Quotes scarves (a forever customer favorite), and denim by Adriano Goldschmied and more.”
Fall Carryalls. Expect “the Emilia Tote by Mercado Global.” (This is pictured above, and yes, it will be 30 percent off that $145 price tag!)
In short: Make sure you save room in your closet for major purchases from this shop.
