No, this isn’t a feature of a modern home in California. Manhattan-based architect John Lee designed the addition to this home in Greenville, Delaware (just outside of Wilmington) of all places. While the photos that go along with the listing are still rather spectacular, you’re going to want to see what this place looks like furnished. Here’s a brief video that does just that (please note the motorcycle in the living room and know that we didn’t pick the music track).

Open with ultra clean lines throughout, the home is bathed in vast amounts natural sunlight. That’s thanks in large part to the enormous wall of windows in the living room that juts out from the main structure and overlooks the expansive pool area. As Lee notes on his website, “the pool area with its various spaces for lounging and recreation virtually extends the spatial sequence started in the living room.” Surely, the outdoor area is the place to be on those sun-soaked Delaware afternoons, especially on that raised deck with built-in kitchen. Cookout, anyone?

Two open and see-through fireplaces in the living room further accentuate the ultra-modern vibe of the home. The larger of the two acts as an extension of the floor and reveals its ledge as you step down into the lower living space. The kitchen area features a wall of stainless steel appliances and the range is built-into the centralized island with the hood as the area’s chandelier of sorts.

Don’t miss the enormous master suite, which boasts a galley-like master bath complete with a long strip of horizontal windows and a skylit shower and soaking tub.
