You Can Test Out Nail Polish Colors for Your Big Day With Sally Hansen’s New ManiMatch App

Here’s a little something fun for your Friday: Sally Hansen just came out with an app called ManiMatch that lets you test out different nail polish colors—on your real hands!—without having to go to the nail salon.

All you have to is scan your hand with your iPhone and pick a shade, it’s as easy at that (really, we tried it!). There’s a whole bunch of polishes to choose from and you can swap your color choice with just a quick swipe.

If you find a polish you love, you can snap a picture and send it off to your ‘maids—this is especially great if you’re trying to pick a shade for your girls to wear for the wedding; they can each test it out before the Big Day and see how it looks with their skin tone before committing to it at the salon. You even have the option of purchasing your favorite colors through the app as well.

Pretty neat, huh? We’ll warn you, it’s addictive (we said goodbye to our afternoons long ago), so while you spend the afternoon playing around with ManiMatch, you might as well have a go at Blue Nile’s virtual engagement ring app, too.
