The newest issue of PW is here, kids! And if it is here, as in the Philly mag offices, you can rest assured that it will be here as in your hot little hands in no time: You’ll find the fall/winter 2014 issue of Philadelphia Wedding on a newsstand near you on Monday, June 30. Here’s what you can expect:

A Grand Affair We were inspired by dress designers’ return this season to the romantic, elegant, dressed-up soirees of days gone by, and decided to shoot our fashion story at one of Philadelphia’s most beautiful and iconic hotels, the Hyatt at the Bellevue. Expect to see gorgeous gowns you’ll want to try on immediately at a bridal salon near you.

Cakes & Flowers for Every Month of the Season We not only wanted to give you seasonal cake and flower ideas for your fall or winter wedding—we wanted to give you ideas for the very month you’re getting married in! We asked local bakers and florist to create beautiful Big-Day treats, centerpieces and bouquets to get your ideas flowing, and we think you’ll like what they came up with.

The Philadelphia Bride’s Guide to Local Custom Invitation Studios Your invitation is the very first impression your guests will get of your wedding—so we know you want to get it right. This town is home to several custom invite studios helmed by talented designers who can take your vision for your wedding day and literally put it down on paper. We hope this guide gives you somewhere to start.

How to Tackle Your To-Do List Know all those little tasks that you really don’t feel like you have time to do, but that have to get done, all the same? We’ll fill you in on the local pros who can take care of, say, putting together your welcome bags or even shopping for your honeymoon, so that you can stick to the big picture and not get weighed down in the nitty gritty.

Party Fouls Sadly, nearly everyone’s got a story about going to that wedding. We’ve rounded up some horror stories from past wedding guests to make sure that after you read them, your nearest and dearest don’t suffer any of the same fates at your celebration.

We can’t wait to show it to you! Or to hear what you think. Happy planning!
