PW’s Search for the Greatest Groom!

Hi brides,

Hopefully, lots and lots of you have already picked up our brand new issue—and hopefully, you’re deep enough into it that you’ve come across page 59, where we announce a contest that’s going on now: Our search for the Greatest Groom.

Basically, we want to hear about the fabulous engaged guy in your life: Is it your fiance? Your brother? Your friend, son, or grandson? Doesn’t matter to us, as long as you can tell us why he is the best groom-to-be that has ever placed a rock on a lady’s finger. It can be because he’s undyingly patient, even when the ladies around him are acting crazy. It can be because he’s an inspiration to people in his life. It can be for any reason—you’ve just got to convince us.

Between now and December 31, 2011, we will be collecting submissions—either click here for the form, or you can always head to our Philadelphia Wedding homepage and click on the Greatest Groom link, there—and after that, myself and the fab edit staff at PW will be picking the winner, which will be announced in the March 2012 issue of Philadelphia magazine.

And what does the winning couple get, you ask? Oh, you know, just a whole wedding. Yep, a wedding. Courtesy of Visit Bucks County. It’ll be at the beautiful Pen Ryn Mansion, and will include everything from the photography, decor and entertainment to, of course, the Dress.
