Person Struck and Killed on SEPTA Regional Rail

The Lansdale/Doylestown Line is experiencing service interruptions and delays following the 5 a.m. incident.

A person died after being struck by a SEPTA Regional Rail train this morning.

The incident occurred around 5:10 a.m. on the Lansdale/Doylestown line. Service between the Lansdale and Doylestown stops was still suspended shortly before 9 a.m. this morning. 

The rest of the line is seeing significant delays. SEPTA is offering alternate transportation suggestions on its website.

More information on the fatality wasn’t immediately available.
