Donald Trump’s presidential campaign is holding a “Make America Great Again” rally on May 19th in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The cost for a ticket? A cool $200.

The point of the rally, it appears, is to pay off New Jersey Governor and failed presidential candidate Chris Christie’s campaign debt. According to an email invitation to the event, all ticket proceeds will go to “Chris Christie for President, Inc.”

Is it unusual for the presumptive presidential nominee of a major political party to hold a fundraiser for a former opponent in the midst of the presumptive nominee’s campaign? It feels kind of unusual.

Press officers for Christie and for the Trump campaign did not immediately respond to questions on Friday. Questions like, oh really?
