Two Stabbed, Two Arrested in Center City Brawl

It took place overnight on Market Street.

Two people were stabbed — and two arrested — during an overnight brawl near 10th and Market streets, according to reports.

NBC10 reports that the brawl occurred between two groups, about 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. One group was from outside the city, the other from the city. Investigators didn’t immediately know what caused the fight.

Philly.com added that one victim, a 21-year-old man, was stabbed in the neck. Another, a 45-year-old man, was stabbed in the back and the rib cage. Both were taken to nearby Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, both in stable condition.

A man and a woman were arrested in the incident.
