Atlantic City’s Pro Bar AC Resurrects for One-Night-Only New Year’s Bash

The evening also features performers from the "Divas" show.

The newly revamped Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City is throwing a super queer bash on New Year’s Eve that is a major throwback to AC’s gay nightlife. For one night only, partiers will be able to enjoy the Divas Reunion Show, featuring some of the greatest impersonators of Joan Rivers, Patti LaBelle, and Dolly Parton, and if that wasn’t enough, Pro Bar, the gay nightclub that shuttered in 2013, is bringing back the dancefloor to Claridge for an all-night bender.

The Divas Reunion Show starts at 9 p.m. at the Claridge’s Celebrity Theatre, which is a perfect location since you’ll be spotting lots of Liza, Bette, and maybe even Whitney back from the grave! Tickets can be purchased here, and there are VIP booths available.

After you get your fill of show tunes, you can dance and drink the night away at the Claridge’s Ocean View Room on the third floor, where Pepper Mashay (of “Dive in the Pool” fame) and live DJs and dancers will be recreating Pro Bar until 4 a.m. New Years Day. Tickets for this cash-bar event are available here, or you can purchase a Divas and Pro Bar bundle for $50 per person by calling 844-224-7386.

The Claridge, which was formerly part of Bally’s, is now independently operated. Once called the “Skyscraper by the Sea,” the hotel once housed icons Marilyn Monroe, Al Capone, and Frank Sinatra.
