Neighbor Charged With Arson of Police Officer’s House

Montgomery County authorities charged Donna Krupp, a neighbor of the Limerick Township police detective.

Authorities have charged a neighbor with the arson of a Montgomery County police officer’s house yesterday.

Police say Donna Krupp burned down detective Ernie Morris’ house on December 4th. Police say Krupp was motivated to burn down Morris’ house due to prior arrests of her son, and that physical and video evidence led them to Krupp.

Krupp was taken into custody Thursday night. Bail was set at a million dollars.

Morris, of the Limerick Township Police Department, was in Disney World with his family when his house burned down. The home was a total loss.

A preliminary hearing for Krupp is scheduled for December 17th. She has been charged with arson, recklessly endangering another person, risking a catastrophe and possession of an instrument of crime among other charges.
