Feds: Reputed Mob Associate Wanted Daughter’s Boyfriend Dead

Ronald Galati Sr. has been charged in a second murder-for-hire plot, an unsealed indictment revealed.

The Inquirer’s Jeremy Roebuck reports of new trouble for Ronald Galati Sr.: The reputed mob associate, already arrested in one murder-for-hire plot, is accused of trying to have his 33-year-old daughter’s boyfriend killed.

Galati was arrested late last year, charged with attempting to hire men to kill a witness who testified against him before a grand jury. The new indictment, unsealed yesterday, says Galati threatened the boyfriend’s life on one occasion and offered $20,000 to have him killed.

His lawyer says thew new charges were expected, and maintains his client’s innocence.
