Bus from Philly to D.C. to Rally for the Ban of Prop 8 and DOMA

SCOTUS will hear the Prop 8 and DOMA Cases next week. United for Marriage wants to get you down there so you can make your voice heard.

With the Supreme Court set to make decisions on the Prop 8 and DOMA cases on March 26 and 27, polls are flooding in showing an increasing number of support across the country for marriage equality. But, as nice as they sound, numbers on a page can never be as compelling as good old-fashioned, energized human presence.

Next Tuesday, at 5 a.m., the United for Marriage Coalition is organizing a bus trip from Philly to the steps of the Supreme Court. Once there, the group will join other busloads from Baltimore, Richmond, Raleigh and New York for two days of chanting, sign waving and whatever else is needed to get those judges’ attention. To create a unified presence, organizers are asking everyone involved to wear red. Want to get involvled? Here are some helpful links:
