Eagles’ Trent Cole Boycotting Harrisburg Gun Show…Not For the Reason You Think
The Sandy Hook massacre was a tipping point, for gun control activists and for gun rights advocates. It took Sandy Hook for Barack Obama to commission a weapons task force, and to propose a sweeping gun control agenda. And it was the Connecticut shooting, likewise, that convinced pro-gun rights politicians like Bob Casey to support re-instating the federal assault weapons ban. At first blush, it seems the Eagles’ Defensive End Trent Cole, a big hunter, feels similarly, after announcing yesterday that he was boycotting a mammoth weeklong gun show that will take place in two weeks in Harrisburg.
Urgent announcement: Trent Cole and Blitz TV will not attend the 2013 Eastern Sports Show in Harrisburg, PA.

Way to take a stand, Trent! Oh wait, what’s that I’m hearing? Ah, he’s boycotting the show because the gun show is in turn boycotting assault weapons.
Unfortunately, we will not support the recent decisions made by Eastern Sports Show management.
