NBC Has TV’s Most Expensive Ad Slots


Comcast has been crushing it since taking over at NBC. They’ve emerged from the ratings basement, turned a profit on the Olympics, and now their Sunday Night Football ad slots are worth more than any other 30-second spot on television. NBC is reportedly commanding $545,142 for 30 seconds of ad time during SNF. That bests American Idol, which previously held the top spot and was pulling about $500,000/ad. The Idol ratings have dropped, though, so the No. 2 program only pulls in $340,825 now. [Forbes]
