It’s Always Sunny Gets Super Trashy for Season 8

On Thursday, the gang will return to your television as the eighth season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia premieres on FX. The premiere episode features a trash strike in Philly and the gang attempts to fill the city’s void, presumably by picking up everyone’s trash. Producer, writer, and star of the show, St. Joe’s Prep grad Rob McElhenney, says that part of the inspiration for the episode was that his 2-year-old son Axel is obsessed with trucks. Really.
