H3N2v doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it as “H1N1,” but you might want to avoid places with pigs for a while just in case. Pennsylvania health officials are wary of the H3N2v—a new type of swine flu that has in the Midwest and now central Pennsylvania. The virus hasn’t shown that it can spread from human to human, though, so officials are just advising people with high risk of influenza to avoid places with pigs. [CBS 3]
