It’s Still the Summer of 2012, So There Was Another Water Main Break in Philly
This time a 16-inch water main broke in the city’s West Oak Lane section. Officials managed to cap the break before they needed to cut anyone’s water service, but not before the break caused a street collapse. The main itself should be fixed sometime on Tuesday. No word on if the street collapse has jeopardized the structural integrity of any of the surrounding homes. This was the fifth water main break in the last month. Happy summer, you guys. [6 ABC]
