Whole Foods Sued for Alleged Discrimination at Philly Store

Whole Foods will have to go to court because the Philadelphia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations has filed a lawsuit against the company for allegedly discriminating against a Muslim employee at the store near the Art Museum. The Council on American-Islamic Relations—the country’s largest organization dedicated to protecting the civil liberties of Muslims—says that the Muslim employee mentioned in the suit felt he had to pray outside by the dumpsters after he was heckled while praying in storage areas.
