Economy Helps Romney Pulls Virtually Even With Obama in Recent Poll

A recent Associated Press-GfK poll indicates that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has pulled practically even with President Barack Obama five months before the 2012 election. In the poll, only 30 percent of adults who responded felt that the country is headed in the right direction. The poll also indicates that 49 percent of people approve of how the president is handling his job. More than 1,000 people participated in the poll. [Philly.com]
