Liquor Privatization Debate Dies in the House

The debate on the proposed plan for liquor privatization in Pennsylvania has officially died in the state House of Representatives. Two weeks ago, those involved promised a vote last week. Last week, those involved assured that it would be discussed early this week. Now, House majority leader Mike Turzai says that the issue won’t be revisited during this legislative session, but may be revived again in the fall. At this point, we’ve all just accepted the fact that we have to cross a bridge or make a bajillion stops every time we want to have a dinner party. [CBS 3]
