Second Opinion on Roy Halladay’s Shoulder Brings Good (?) News

Phew. We were treated to some good news (?) from the Phillies on Roy Halladay’s shoulder today. After getting a second opinion, the Phils have decided they’re going to shut Halladay down for three weeks. After three weeks of no throwing, they’ll get him up and tossing again and move forward based on how he feels. As of now, he’s still slated to return to action 6-8 weeks from when we learned about this whole issue. This is significantly better than the possibly awful news we were all bracing for leading up to this afternoon’s press conference.
