Customs Cracks Down, Seizes Counterfeit Winter Classic Merch

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations has announced the seizure of counterfeit sports merchandise. The counterfeit goods—much of which were Winter Classic related—were seized from international mail depots and street vendors in Philly. The suggested retail price of the items was $350,000 or approximately seven T-shirts and a foam finger. I sure hope they didn’t get the guy with the garb at 18th and Market who spent the entire season reminding Center City pedestrians that, “the Eagles are playing like shit.” [U.S. Department of Homeland Security]
