Workers in Sheriff’s Office Charged With Fraud

Four employees in the Sheriff’s office have been charged in connection with a scheme to defraud the office out of nearly $400,000. The investigation had been ongoing for about a year and required the cooperation of the Sheriff’s office, the city inspector general, the city controller, two federal agencies and the DA’s Office.
