Want to Lick Ellen DeGeneres?

Anyone who’s tuned into Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show knows that she’s an outspoken vegan, along with her spouse Portia de Rossi. DeGeneres is one of 20 famous vegetarians featured on a new set of limited-edition postage stamps created by PETA this season.

The stamps also feature Joan Jett, Morrissey and many others. The set’s available through the end of December for $19.99 as a way to not only lick some of your favorite (gay and lesbian) herbivores, but also to bring attention to animal abuse.

“I personally chose to go vegan because I educated myself on factory farming and cruelty to animals, and I suddenly realized that what was on my plate were living things, with feelings,” DeGeneres says. “And I just couldn’t disconnect myself from it any longer.”
