Lady Gaga Sends Video to Student

The pop star praises efforts against bullying

Say what you will about the cult of Gaga, but the pop star has been tireless in her efforts to bring attention to gay bashing and bullying in schools. She recently sat down for a video thanking a high schooler – Jacques St. Pierre, student council president of the Etobicoke School of the Arts – who organized a school assembly with an anti-bullying theme in Toronto.

“I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for being such a strong advocate of the LGBT community in your school,” Gaga says in the video. “There should be more little monsters like you. It is important that we push the boundaries of love and acceptance. It is important that we spread tolerance and equality for all students.”
