Judge Says Facebook Friends Don’t Count

A municipal judge has refused to recuse himself in the DUI case of State Representative Cherelle Parker. The prosecution requested that Municipal Court Judge Charles Hayden recuse himself because he is Facebook friends with Parker. District Attorney Seth Williams had already recused himself and his office because he and Parker have a friendship. [WHYY]
