Mayor Nutter Reevaluates Position on Occupy Philly. The mayor has become concerned with the Occupy Philly protest at Dilworth Plaza. Police have received 15 emergency calls to the site, including one for an alleged rape on Saturday evening. The protesters haven’t cooperated with the city to improve the safety and regulations of the protest, and their decision to stay despite planned construction has prompted Nutter to reconsider his tolerant stance.
