Flyers Go to Night School With Jaromir Jagr

Jagr holds extra practices at night in Voorhees

The Flyers brought Jaromir Jagr back to the NHL from Russia in the midst of a controversial summer that saw Richie and Carter banished from Dry Island and an influx of young talent drop anchor in town. Now the Flyers are off to a 4-0-1 start behind that crop of youngsters—some of whom have been attending classes at the “Jagr Hockey School.” Jagr has been given a key to SkateZone—which serves as the team’s practice facility in Voorhees, New Jersey—and has been holding extra practices at night and has invited all of the other players to join him as they see fit. SkateZone in Voorhees sounds a lot better than a frat party in Old City. [Yahoo!]
