Philly Schools Add Incident Committee

The Philadelphia School District’s “no tolerance” policy has been amended after criticism of the effectiveness of the campaign. The policy led to drawn-out expulsion hearings and kids being tossed out of schools for what many would consider minor offenses. Now, the District has created a committee that will review incidents and rule on each respectively. [Inquirer]
