Incoming: Colin Quinn
His Seinfeld-directed show is coming to Broad Street
My first memory of Colin Quinn was as the sidekick on that MTV game show Remote Control. Yours may be from his late 80s run on Saturday Night Live or his Comedy Central show. In any event, he’s coming to Suzanne Roberts Theatre from June 28 to July 10 with his one-man-performance, Long Story Short, and Jerry Seinfeld is in the director’s seat. The show is basically a history of the world in an hour and fifteen minutes and through Quinn’s darkly comic lens. The New York Times described Quinn’s recent Broadway run using the phrases “a snappy recap” and “rarely savage or seriously insulting”, while the Post declared, “…it’s just one guy and a string of jokes.” Tickets ($51-$65) are available now.
