Holiday Beauty Tips
The holiday season is fast approaching and the time has come to think about the important things in life, like how can I be the hottest person at the party? If you’ve been neglecting those luscious locks of yours just to save a few pennies, then this holiday season is the perfect excuse to splurge a little so you can shine a lot.
This year’s must-have accessory for the gals doesn’t come from the fashion houses or runways, but by way of your stylist’s shears: bangs. I realize that the notion of bangs may trigger fear and not-so-fond memories of kitchen scissors mishaps by your mom. That’s why I like to use a much less scary word for you nervous Nellies: fringe.
The look for women this season is all about sophistication and elegance with the right, bouncy fringe that can be custom cut to compliment your face shape. Whether you wear your hair down or pull it back in a sleek and sexy loose bun, fringe adds character and that wow-factor to your regular do.
And what about the guys? Gone are the days of the faux hawk. Instead, say hello to a classic cut inspired by TMC’s retro-fantastic television series Mad Men. Think Don Draper‘s smoldering, side-parted, clean-cut look. A classic haircut looks even better with a new Commonwealth Proper suit.
I also recommend keeping dry shampoo on hand, like Kevin Murphy’s Fresh Hair. You can erase the sins of last night’s wild party with a simple spritz.
And by all means, fellas, please leave the Bieber to the 16 year olds.
