Rent It: MacGruber (R, 2010). Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Val Kilmer, and Ryan Phillippe star in this absurdly over-the-top riff on MacGyver … that completely bombed at the box office. It’s offensive, stupid, and funny. My Grade: B-

Queue It: Grey Gardens (Unrated, 1975). The documentary that pulls you into the decaying house and lives of Big and Little Edie — Jackie O’s (once) beautiful aunt and cousin. Their co-dependent, secluded relationship is both beautiful and horrible. And they’re two of the most original women you will ever meet. “It’s very difficult to keep the line between the past and the present. You know what I mean? It’s awfully difficult.” — Little Edie. My Grade: A
