Philly QFest This Weekend

Movie blogger Aaron Mettey's film festival picks

Last night marked the opening of Philadelphia QFest—the largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender film festival on the East Coast. This festival, which continues through Monday, July 19th, will have some of the best new features, documentaries, and shorts of the genre. There are dozens of films playing this weekend; here are my recommendations.

Visit the festival’s website for up-to-date show times, complete film listings, and ticket information. Note: Many screenings will sell out fast!
