We’re not used to getting actors of such high caliber. How did PTC convince you?
It’s the play. I got the script in April, and it was a definite go.
Is it freeing to be the one woman in a one-woman show? There’s no rest. And it’s lonely. But in this one, the audience will be an extension of the cast. There will be no fourth wall.
What’s on your hospitality rider? Well, I certainly appreciate fresh roses every week. After the initial surge that makes your dressing room look like a funeral home, they die away. If someone else doesn’t renew them, I do.
How many times have you been asked to record answering machine messages? It’s always a big seller at charity auctions. I’ll say, “Hello, Victor isn’t in right now. Or he’s … busy.”
Where will we spot you in Philly? The museums. A great French bistro … Oh, and I need to find a really good Pilates class.
