HONEYMOON INSPIRATION: Great Honeymoon Getaway Deals

Hi, future honeymooners! Some really cool resorts out there are offering sweet deals we definitely think should be on your radar. Plus, it’s oh-so-tempting to imagine being on a tropical beach right now, isn’t it? Here are a few deals we’ve got our eye on now …

• Parrot Cay — both the name of the luxe resort and the private island on which it sits in Turks & Caicos — is offering a few deals perfect for honeymooners. If you’re taking your trip before September 7th, do their “4 for 3” or “7 for 5” deals, where you get one or two nights for free, respectively. They both include daily breakfast and airport transfers. And if you’re in the mood to island hop, their “Romantic Runaway” package might be perfect: You’ll get three nights in your chosen accommodations; breakfast, lunch and dinner daily (including one Champagne breakfast); airport transfers; a daily replenished fruit bowl; complimentary use of non-motorized water sports; and complimentary group yoga and Pilates classes. • Perched atop a hill overlooking Gustavia’s harbor in St. Barts, boutique Hotel Carl Gustaf is offering a rejuvenating spa package for the first few months of the year. Sign up for their “Check In & Chill Out” package and you’ll get five nights in one of the hotel’s 14 beautiful suites; a four-day spa treatment program from Boutique Spa by Carita, including two one-hour massages, a facial and body treatment; a dinner at each of the resort’s two restaurants; a five-day car rental; one bottle of mineral water each per day; chilled champagne upon arrival; daily continental breakfast served in-suite; airport transfers; daily gift at turndown service; and free access to the fitness center. Rates begin at $7,970 for double occupancy, and the deal is available Jan. 9-22; Feb. 1-11; Feb. 28-March 7; and March 14-20.

• The Rosewood Mayakoba resort nestled along Mexico’s Riviera Maya is currently offering several packages (among them diving- and golf-themed vacations), but we think for your honeymoon, you should check out their “5 for 4” deal, where you get the fifth night of your stay for free (Running from Jan. 3-May 30), or their “Honeymoon Mayan Romance” package, available through April 2010. With rates beginning at $810 per night (including tax and service) for double occupancy, you’ll get five nights in your chosen accommodations; daily breakfast for two; a moonlight tantric yoga class for two; a moonlight massage for two on your suite’s terrace; a couples massage instruction session (including, ahem, alone time); an aromatherapy bath for two with champagne and chocolate; and the choice of a trip to visit Mayan ruins nearby, or a snorkeling excursion.
