Philadelphia Insurance Companies 17th-Annual Turkey Trot, November 26, 2009
Traversing along the Wissahickon Creek, this race offers runners a 5-mile or 1-mile course that shows off the Forbidden Trail’s famous fall foliage. Proceeds from the race benefit Face to Face, a Germantown organization that benefits the community through social programs, a food kitchen, and a health clinic.

Bucks County

Run For Your Health Thanksgiving Day 5-Mile Race, November 26, 2009

The Bucks County Road Runners Club sponsors this annual 5-mile race (as well as the 1-mile fun run or walk) in Langhorne, so you can be sure it’ll draw some of the area’s more competitive runners. Proceeds benefit the Bethanna organization, which provides the area with adoption and foster service, as well as support programs for foster families and their children.
