Our city boasts an impressive list of legendary jazz musicians, including saxophonists Charlie Ventura and Stan Getz, scat singer and trumpet player Dizzy Gillespie, and the famed John Coltrane. And though you may not be able to listen live to those guys these days, this weekend's your chance to see the region's best current jazz performers. On Sunday, the street closes for some 30 restaurants' worth of street bistro fare. Now, who said you had to visit Dixieland to hear good jazz?
