The best way to market your band is to choreograph a three-minute song to dancing, walking and singing on treadmills — all in one take — and spread it all over the internet. Right? OK Go did just that with “Here It Goes Again.” They parlayed the clip’s popularity on YouTube.com into a spot on this year’s MTV awards, which perhaps resulted in their recent opening gigs for Cheap Trick. Yes, the same band that brought you “I Want You to Want Me” and “Surrender” almost 30 years ago and is arguably considered the granddaddy of pop-funk will be making a pit stop in Philly next week. Their new record, Rockford — named after that special little Illinois city they all hail from — is their 16th studio album.

November 15th at the Theatre of Living Arts, 334 South Street; $25 SRO tickets available online.
