Haute List: August 2006

Naturopathica's Lavender UV Cream — one of five things to love this month.

Shore Shop
Simple in concept but non in existence (until now): Beach Haven’s new Tula sells exactly the Poleci tops, the Red Engine jeans and the Alice + Olivia sundresses that I wanna wear all the way through Indian summer. Tula the Boutique, 806 North Bay Avenue, Beach Haven; 609-492-2099.

Scented Sunblock
Pale is the new tan, and all summer long, my burn-prone epidermis has been both lily-white and lavender-fresh, thanks to Naturopathica’s very South-of-France-smelling Lavender UV Cream, SPF 17. Available at the Spa at Four Seasons, 1 Logan Square; 215-405-2815.

Brit-Prep in KOP
Thomas Pink comes to the Plaza this month, and I plan to pop around to dekko the new slim-fit shirts for my snog-worthy bloke, who, I suspect, will quite fancy them. The Plaza at King of Prussia; 610-265-1755.

A Little Teapot
Incentive for drinking even more green tea: Abington artist Linda Johnson’s bluebirds teapot series. She calls the designs “Just Friends.” I call them “Aw!” (littleflowerdesigns.com.)

Coin Bracelets
To prove my theory that we shoppers are on an eternal quest for the items that once filled our dress-up bins: I’m hugely coveting Philly artist April Dawn Reigart’s bracelets and necklaces, which are the very real, very chic versions of the coin bracelet I wore when I played rich lady. Available at Art Star, 1030 North 2nd Street; 215-238-1557.
