Here’s What You’re Eating and Drinking at Greg Vernick’s New Coffee Bar

Vernick Coffee Bar isn't really what you'd expect from a skyscraper's ground floor coffee shop — but it is what you'd expect from Greg Vernick.

Leave it to James Beard award-winning Greg Vernick to open a coffee shop with chicken ballotine on the lunch menu. Dude loves to get fancy.

Vernick Coffee Bar is officially open right now, right up the escalator inside the brand new Comcast Technology Center at 1800 Arch Street. It goes from breakfast to lunch, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. And it looks like a goddamn spaceship.

There’s a regular coffee counter with takeaway sandwiches and fresh-baked pastries, and also full-service 40-seat cafe (with a straight-up table-side pour over coffee cart). It’s all very impressive.

Check out the space here, take a look at some of the food, and peep the menus below.
