Love City Brewing, the latest addition to Arts + Crafts Holdings’ Spring Arts district, debuts this afternoon at 1023 Hamilton Street.

The brewery and tasting room, located in a 9,000 square-foot space that once housed a manufacturer of parts for the trains that traveled along the nearby Reading Railroad, will open its doors at 4 p.m.

Owners Kevin and Melissa Walter will offer tours of the brewing space. Kevin formerly worked as a brewer for Iron Hill, and the couple began Love City together in 2016.

Baby Blues BBQ food truck will be onsite with smoked meats, cornbread, and more, and Love City will offer some house-made bites, too.

Love City will debut a slate of seven beers today, including their Pathways Pilsner, which is brewed with members of Pathways to Housing PA, an organization that provides housing for the homeless. A portion of the proceeds from each pour of the pilsner will be donated to the organization.
