Here’s What You’ll Be Eating At Walnut Street Café

Cinnamon buns, brown butter ravioli, a seafood tower, and more.

Yesterday, Walnut Street Café softly opened for breakfast and lunch in University City’s Cira Center South, with dinner service starting Friday.

Take a look at some mouthwatering items and the full menu — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — from BDP Hospitality’s Michelin-starred team.

While BDP is New York-based, the kitchen team was hired from Philly, and they’re setting up a network of local producers to supplement their sourcing. And it seems that they’re going out of their way to be approachable.

For every scrapple with black rice on the breakfast menu, for example, there’s a cinnamon roll and a two eggs, any style — a tactic that will hopefully appeal to a wide swath of eaters. And the pricing, considering the NYC pedigree and the refined interior, is Philly-friendly, too.
